It is in the heart of the golden landscapes of Essaouira, Morocco, that we settled, bathed in bright light, sea breeze, and the unique sweetness of life typical of Morocco. For our photo shoot, Villa Primera of Jardin des Douars was the obvious choice: a perfect setting to showcase the new Spring/Summer 2025 leo & ugo collection, inspired by the warm tones of the desert and the sun, designed to accompany both summer silhouettes and spring dresses.
Villa Primera: an enchanting setting for a radiant collection
Nestled on the heights, the Villa Primera of Jardin des Douars is a true haven of peace. Its architecture, blending local inspirations with contemporary touches, creates an intimate and warm atmosphere with the vibrant colors of our fashion collection. The vast sunlit terraces, the pool offering a breathtaking view, and its gardens invite relaxation. Every detail has been carefully considered, from the colorful furniture to the intoxicating scents of the surrounding plants. But our journey did not stop within the walls of this sumptuous villa… Essaouira captivated us, with its charming alleys and unique craftsmanship.
An immersion in the local culture
Essaouira is a city rich in traditions and flavors. We were lucky to explore the souk, a maze of lively alleys where the scents of spices mingle with the colors of Berber rugs and the sounds of artisans working with terracotta.
The delights of Essaouira
It’s impossible to talk about Essaouira without mentioning its cuisine. We fell in love with the restaurant Dar Baba, where we enjoyed flavorful and authentic traditional Moroccan dishes. And of course, we couldn’t resist the sfenj doughnuts, those delicious fried treats found on every street corner.
Between sand and light: a photoshoot off the beaten path
A few kilometers from Essaouira, we followed our instinct. Far from the hustle and bustle, we found ourselves surrounded by dunes, silence, and an almost unreal light. It was there that we captured part of the Spring/Summer 2025 collection. Nothing was fixed: just nature around, and the wind blowing in perfect harmony with the spirit of the season. This suspended moment reminded us why we love to create: to make room for the unexpected, for movement, for what cannot be controlled.
But beyond the scenery, it was especially the encounters that made this stay so special. We discovered much more than a beautiful place: faces, stories, and genuine hospitality. These exchanges, these shared moments, gave our getaway a unique dimension, turning a simple trip into a true immersion.
